Innovative cast iron

Innovative aluminium cast iron. Now in mechanical engineering over 300 brands of cast iron are applied. It is the share of its share from 20 to 80 % of weight of modern cars (motor transport, the equipment, machines etc.). At all distinctions constructional cast irons they have one general property – all of them are constructed on Fe-C-Si system. Researches have shown that construction of cast irons on essentially new basis – Fe-C-Al systems (cast irons in which silicon is replaced with aluminium) is possible. Thus there is a quantum leap of physical, physicomechanical and operational properties of cast iron.

JSC TM offers replacement of the widely applied now in the mining, oil-processing, chemical and petrochemical industry, metallurgy, mechanical engineering chrome the nickel alloys on innovative economically effective alloys with high operational indicators – possessing properties of steel (crash-worthiness, a crack stability etc.), and cast iron (a high corrosion resistance, abradant stability, resistance to wear process, firmness in hostile environment etc.) at the same time:

  • IChS40 brand alloy – a crack stability, shockproof, resistant to the environment containing sulphurous gas, pairs of water. It is used for manufacturing of locomotive sleeves of the cylinder of any dimensions (6D49.36; D50M), including forced with a bainite matrix, ship engines, a diesel engine – generators, protective plugs (cylinders) of chisel pumps of various standard sizes, slot-hole sealants.
  • The IChS30 brand alloy – possesses high resistance to abrasive wear. It is applied to chisel plugs (Art. 75 replacement), brake shoes and the details working in abrasive hostile environment.
  • IChS brand alloy – heat resisting in the air environment to 1100o С and the environment of oven gases. A high scale resistance to 900o С in the environment of overheated water vapour and at the environment containing 12 % of sulphurous gas. Racks in the conditions of an abrasion and wear. Possesses high durability at the normal and increased temperatures. Apply in chemical, metallurgical and power industry. It is effective as alternative replacement of chrome the nickel alloys, for example, its operational firmness in 2 times higher, than alloy ChH22 and CHN16Х2D7.

Cast irons with Fe-Al-C systems possess the following characteristics:

  • ChYuHSh brand cast iron - heat of racks in the air environment to 700o С, is resistant against an abrasion. It is applied to details of compressors, the oven equipment, sheet-rolling camps.
  • ChYu7H2 brand cast iron - heat resisting in the air environment to 1100o С. Resistant in the environment containing pairs of water, sulphurous gas and vanadium oxides. It is applied to details of the chemical and oil refining equipment.
  • ChYu22Sh brand cast iron - heat resisting in the air environment to 800С, and environment of oven gases. A high scale resistance to 900o С in the environment of overheated water vapour and at the environment containing 12 % of sulphurous gas. Racks in the conditions of an abrasion and wear. Possesses high durability at normal and the increased temperatures. Apply in chemical, metallurgical and power industry. By production of sulfuric acid has shown efficiency in comparison with high-chromic steels, for example, firmness in 1,5-2 times higher, than from alloy H28. In the conditions of vanadic corrosion surpasses H18n10t steel. "Nirezist" replaces.
